"Never go too long without punching something!"
Dustin is the founder of the Sweat Science and the leader of our Team. He has been involved in boxing for thirteen years and plans on being intimately involved with the sport for the rest of his life. He describes boxing as a controlled chaos, your training, and the skillsets you develop boxing allow you to stay calm, collected and in total control while dealing with a chaotic situation. Dustin Started his Boxing apprenticeship under the #1 Ranked Cruiserweight in Canadian History Dale “The Cowboy” Brown and racked up an impressive 4-1 Professional record with all 4 wins coming by way of knockout. After taking his first career loss to current World Champion Andrew “Hurricane” Hernandez, Dustin Retired due to a recurring ankle injury. This allowed Dustin to Transition into a Coaching role so he could focus on developing Athletes While giving his injury’s time to heal.
After coming out of retirement in the spring of 2016 with a 1st round TKO he is now once again an active professional boxer currently holding a 5-1 professional record. Although competition is an extremely important part of his life, he is equally committed to coaching and instructing. Dustin likens the process of training Boxers as molding clay, or teaching someone a new language. He was shown the ropes by some of the best professional fighters and trainers in the game, and as such, is a conduit for this specialized knowledge. His students learn the right way, and when they spend time training with him, their elevated level of technical proficiency is immediately apparent, distinguishing them from the casual participant in the sport.
