Josh is an ex Paramedic turned Personal Trainer when he realized that his true passion was in being proactive with health care rather than reactive. He’s been involved in mixed martial arts for over 10 years and uses it as an empowering corner stone as a women’s strength and nutrition coach. He currently shadows under Calgary’s top Physiotherapists, Nutritionists and Chiropractors and has wrestled at the provincial and national level, grappled under NAGA champions and kick-boxed with professional Muay Thai, Prince Cup fighters.
Josh approaches training in a very hands on, practical way allowing his athletes to perform at new heights. Having been teaching fitness sciences for many years, his catered and always individual approach persists even in a group setting allowing him to be as meticulous as he is thorough.
